What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Controller, the Accountant/Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Administration Office. This position’s primary responsibility is overseeing key admin tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and member relations. The successful candidate will support the admin team in daily activities, including the preparation of journal entries, margin analysis, inventory counts, reconciliation's, and financial statement review.
The incumbent will be responsible for all facets of office management, including supporting a team of administration members and providing financial guidance to team leaders. Working in collaboration with all departments to meet the needs of the business, while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.

Who you are:
You are a true Brand Ambassador for Co-op and you are looking for a lifelong career, in addition to:
- You have post secondary education related to Business or Accounting.
- A professional accounting designation OR enrollment in the CPA program is an asset.
- You have 3+ years of relevant progressively responsible experience.
- You possess leadership qualities and demonstrate excellent communication, organization, time management, process management and problem-solving skills.
- You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
- You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
