What you’ll do:

The Petroleum Manager Trainee will work with the Petroleum Manager to become proficient in all areas of the BULK Petroleum operation as well as complete training programs as required. The successful trainee shall learn and subsequently demonstrate the following abilities:

  • Provide leadership and direction in the development and achievement of financial results and budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses and profits within established guidelines
  • Provides operational direction and supports the implementation of programs and policies. Applies a broad based level of operational knowledge, commodity direction and managerial skills to achieve established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery.
  • Act as a liaison and public relations representative within the community, monitoring member satisfaction levels and participates in the development of products and services to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Provide leadership in the area of employee relations, hiring, training, development, recognition and discipline
  • Provide leadership in the area of asset protection and health & safety
