Under the guidance of the Meat Supervisor, the successful candidate will bring a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills while helping create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for the team and our members/customers.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare, cut, trim, package, display, and price meat and deli products with care and attention to quality;
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe department by following Pembina Co-op’s Health & Safety program along with government food handling and sanitation standards;
  
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience by sharing product knowledge, assisting with selections, and creating eye-catching, well-stocked displays;
  

What you’ll bring:

• A valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable transportation;
  
• A self-starting attitude and the ability to work independently while staying motivated and productive;
  
• A team-first mindset and the ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment;
  
• Strong communication, organization, and planning skills, with a focus on quality and customer service;
  
• Experience in a meat department or knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a strong asset; a Journeyman Meat Cutter Certificate is not required but would be considered an asset.
  
• Dependable and reliable, with the flexibility to work a changing schedule based on business needs, including evenings and weekends.
